Community Church of Alton is an active body of believers located in the historic village of Alton New Hampshire. Every Sunday morning, we gather together to worship the Lord and to seek His direction for our lives through expository Bible teaching. The word "expository" comes from a Latin word that means to "put forth an explanation". What really unites our church family is our love for Jesus Christ, our thirst for His holy Word, and our desire to see His will done through our lives.

We hope that those who visit will find a sense of freedom here. The Word of God says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Cor. 3:17). Our church has a relaxed atmosphere, yet we are orderly and intentional in all that we do. Our services begin with Christ-centered worship and continue with the teaching of Scripture. Pastor Jared teaches, verse by verse, through whole books of the Bible. “This”, he remarks, “is the best way to ensure that those in attendance will hear from God rather than from me.” 

Our church sanctuary was constructed in 1827. Since that time, numerous building projects have been completed. Our church building now combines the best of both 'the old' and 'the new'. In addition to our historic sanctuary, we are blessed to have administrative offices, a large, modern kitchen, a spacious dining hall for church dinners, a beautiful nursery for our little ones, and numerous classrooms, including a "teen room", complete with pool tables and a large-screen television. As stewards over these resources, our goal is to use them to bless the community around us by helping people come into a deeper knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
